... and Jim took over a thousand pictures for this project. In the process he learned more than he could have predicted at the onset. Jim, like most Westerners, had thought of yoga as an exercise regime. But again and again he witnessed participants releasing themselves from a shroud of negative self-assessment as they explored their natural beauty through creative and spontaneous yoga.
Jim’s hope in participating in this project is that every reader stretches beyond the ordinary in their lives to experience the joy and beauty of the creative process. Jim sees the book as an opportunity to “free people from self-imposed limitations by removing them from the typical reference points of yoga… classic poses demonstrated by accomplished teachers and advanced practitioners.” Jim concludes, “Everyone should know himself or herself as a creative artist. Doing creative yoga is a terrific path to that end.”
